Don’t say they’re wrong
Kentucky officials forbid students from telling other students that homosexual behavior is wrong

The Alliance Defense Fund filed suit in 2005 against the Boyd County Board of Education for requiring students to attend unconstitutional “diversity training.”  The training instructs students that if they believe homosexual behavior is wrong, they must keep their opinions to themselves.

On Feb. 17, 2006, a federal judge refused to protect the free speech rights of students in Boyd County schools, ruling that they have no right to opt out of the school district’s diversity training sessions.  The sessions were the result of a lawsuit filed against the Boyd County Board of Education by the Boyd County High School Gay-Straight Alliance, represented by the American Civil Liberties Union.
